Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

As the Stagecoach Administrator , it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at Stagecoach. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our mission to help every child feel welcome, connected, and part of our Stagecoach family. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities. At Stagecoach, we have great teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. Our teachers utilize research-based best practice and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and to set goals for growth and improvement.  We believe that all students should reach their full potential and be at grade level in order to meet the demands of today’s ever-changing world.

We strongly encourage each family to download our Parent Square app ~ https://www.parentsquare.com. Much of our communication that will be sent home from the classroom, Stagecoach office and the Central Administration will be thru the Parent Square app.

I am honored to serve as the administrator of Stagecoach Elementary. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Palacios at (307)-352-3265 or at palaciosj@sw.k12.wy.us

Once again, welcome back! Let’s make it another great year at Stagecoach together.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Martin-Palacios

We moved back to Colorado when I was in middle school and I finished out my educational career there.  I have a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University Pueblo, a Masters in Elementary Education from University of Phoenix and a Masters in Education Leadership and Innovation from Regis University. I have been honored to work in the educational field since finishing college. I started my career as a literacy tutor in a Title 1 school in Colorado, then taught Kindergarten-Second grade for the remainder of my classroom teaching years. During the 2015-2016 school year I served as the Assistant Principal at Pilot Butte Elementary and Eastside Elementary. I started my journey as the Principal of Stagecoach for the 2016-2017 school year. Please follow Stagecoach happenings on our Stagecoach Facebook and on twitter @Stagecoach307.

Principal's Background: Adam Shankle

Hello!

My name is Adam Shankle and I will be the new Assistant Principal this year. I was raised in Northeast Ohio and spent much of my life in that area, graduating from a small high school there. After high school I attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and Hiram College where I earned my Bachelor’s in Integrated Social Studies Education. I finished my Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2018. I am married and have two beautiful children. My family and I moved to Wyoming 4 years ago and have loved it ever since.

My adventure in education began with my first teaching job in Alaska, I then moved back to Ohio where I took a teaching position at my alma mater as a Seventh and Eighth Grade Social Studies teacher. After we moved to Wyoming I worked as a Job Coach and Social Studies teacher in Campbell County before moving here to Rock Springs to join the team here at Stagecoach.

I am excited for the opportunity to help your students and looking forward to a great year!
