Principal - Stephanie Otter
Assistant Principal - Travis Toomer.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and have spent the past five years teaching in Title 1 classrooms, including Kindergarten and 3rd grade. During my time as a classroom teacher, I developed a strong passion for supporting diverse learners, creating engaging instruction, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Recently, I have begun an exciting new path as an assistant principal, where I focus on supporting teachers, building collaborative school communities, and ensuring that every student has opportunities to succeed academically and socially.
Outside of my professional life, I am an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoy exploring nature whenever I can. I am also passionate about all types of sports, whether playing or watching, and I cherish spending quality time with my family. My journey in education is fueled by a dedication to lifelong learning, a commitment to student growth, and a love for the vibrant and dynamic community of learners and educators around me.

Welcome to 2nd Grade!
Our 2nd-grade team brings a combined 84 years of teaching experience to the classroom, with a strong focus on helping students build confidence and skills during this important year. In 2nd grade, students make the exciting transition from learning to read toward reading to learn. We understand that this year can feel like a big leap in expectations, and we are here to guide students every step of the way.
We emphasize not only reading and writing, but also problem-solving in math, curiosity in science, and creativity across subjects. Our classrooms foster independence, collaboration, and perseverance so that students are ready for the challenges ahead.
We believe every child can thrive when supported by both school and home. That’s why we value strong partnerships with families, consistent communication, and celebrating the unique strengths each child brings to the classroom. By the end of 2nd grade, our goal is for students to be confident, engaged learners prepared to take on new challenges with success.

Our third grade team has a combined 36 years of experience in education. We come from a variety of different educational experiences, but we come together as a team to educate and serve all students. Third grade is a big transition year for students, working from basic knowledge of reading and math to more complex application of these skills. As a team, we work hard to ensure that all students make growth and work toward proficiency in all areas. We understand that third grade can be a challenging year, but we love working with students to show them what they are capable of. We are excited to work with you and your students this year.

Title 1 is a federally funded program that provides extra academic support to students. Your Title I team consists of educators who understand and value the effects of reading on child development; developing language skills and literacy, building empathy, and learning how to handle challenging feelings.
Stagecoach Elementary Title I teachers are fortunate to have 31 combined years in education to share their knowledge and love for each student. We also have the opportunity to plan and implement family engagement activities throughout the year, such as our Chili Cook Off/Bingo for Books, and Math Night events. We believe that caregivers are our students’ first and most important teacher- and we are honored to be a part of that journey.
The cafeteria staff is here every morning to dish out breakfast to our students and ready to serve lunch daily. The cafeteria is also open daily at 9:30 for 2nd chance breakfast.
